Inquiries Submissions Permissions Stay Informed

Authors who would like to have the West Virginia University Press consider their work for publication should send a letter of inquiry and a sample chapter of the work to Acquisitions Editor, The West Virginia University Press, PO Box 6295, West Virginia University, Morgantown, WV 26506. Explain your project fully in your letter, and describe fully the readership to which it should appeal. If your work coincides with our interests and resources, we will then ask you to send the completed manuscript, which we will evaluate for publication. If you have never written for a university press, we suggest that you consult Beth Luey's Handbook for Academic Authors, 3rd edition (Cambridge UP, 1997).
